Welcome to Seti's Place

A LITLE BIT ABOUT SETI

Seti is an Ibizan Hound who came from Norway to live with me in March of 2001. After being owned by four Dobermans Seti is quite a change for me.

People often ask me what it is like to live with such an unusual breed. Here is how I would describe Seti. Around the house he is very much like having a large cat. He is extremely independent, laid back but will spend hours outside hunting (thankfully the area wildlife is pretty cautious around him!). He loves to take naps, steals my pillow every chance he gets and can be very persistant and vocal when he wants something. He is one of the most brilliant dogs I have ever worked with. He loves clicker training and can learn with frightening speed. Motivating him can be challenging at times (though much easier now that he is older and I understand him better). He hates to make errors so I have to plan our sessions carefully so he doesn't get discouraged. There are many times when I think he is so beautiful he takes my breath away but just as many times when I think he's the goofiest looking thing I have ever seen. He loves children, is a tireless thief, a committed digger and an expert snuggler. I hope you enjoy his website(check my links for more Ibizan info).
